Julia Marie Mayer was born June 21, 1976 in Los Angeles, CA. When she was three years old, her family moved to Oregon City, OR where she presently resides. She attended Mt. Pleasant Elementary School from age five and then moved on to Thora B. Gardner Junior High. She graduated from Oregon CIty High in 1994 and attended Marylhurst College and Clackamas Community Colleges simutaneously for a while majoring in political science. She married Jayesh Palshikar on August 11, 1995 and attended Northland College in Wisconsin the following fall. They returned to Oregon the following year and worked and attended classes for medical degrees. Joshua was born in February of 2000 and has kept them very busy in a number of ways. They lived in Draper, Utah for a short period, then back in Oregon City before April 2002, when they were blessed with twin daughters which have kept them extremely busy. Jayesh has continued his education and graduated in June 2003, receiving his nursing degree. He worked in the new neo-natal unit of the Salem Hospital as well as for Kaiser Permanente before receiving his scholarship for continuing education and moving back to the Portland area. They lived in Monmouth for awhile before the scholarship opportunity, when they returned to the Portland area. He currently works for Tuality Hospital and is continuing his education for further degrees.
Julia is continuing her education as well between trying to keep up her home and family. They are active in their church and in the community.
Parenting, school and work make for VERY busy lives. Too busy to even give all the updated information to keep this current. Not that we don't let anyone know, but the person doing this website has a VERY BAD memory and doesn't keep up with what is going on very well except which grand child is teething or walking this month! LOL
