This was the defining moment in my graduation from being the baby to being the little boy in the family! Now my baby brother, Dhruva, can take over that position and my parents will have had a little bit of time to adjust to the fact that I really am growing up! Such a drastic change was difficult to get used to, especially for my daddy who was doing a lot of traveling and would come home to a child who looked totally different than his memory thought I should look. So much so, that they let it grow out a whole lot again before getting it cut again a few weeks after Dhruva came home. I am really a boy now. I love riding my trike, and driving my toy cars. Especially dump trucks, backhoes, and fire engines. I'm on the move!
Grandma, Aunt Kandle and cousin Willow visited in early September, so they weren't able to come back for my birthday. But that's okay! It was still lots of fun.
My birthday was perfect! I got so many great toys and got to celebrate with a day at the zoo with mommy and daddy. So much fun. My trike was the best of all dreams come true! I ride it all over the house until the weather gets warmer. Papa finished painting the garage and I started riding it there while mama does the laundry. Soon I'll start riding it outside while mom takes Dhruva in the stroller....maybe. I'm sort of out of control so far to be allowed to do that. So far, I think mom will probably strap me in tight to the stroller along with Dhruva to keep us both in place, cuz I think I can run faster than she can. :P
I loved my birthday cake! I know what birthdays are about now, and have LOTS of things that I am looking forward to for next birthday!
Grandma Ruth came to visit soon after I became a big brother. Here's a sampling of photos she took while here. Hope we'll see each other again soon. It was so much fun.
I rode my trike around to show off, and I used my kitchen to cook for grandma. I also liked to hold the new baby and watch him make little faces and hold my hand. I'm a good brother and very helpful.
I love to help in the kitchen. For Christmas, I got my own kitchen set so that I can cook whenever I want to. I have pots and pans and plates and cups and lots of imagination.
CAN YOU DO IT?
YES! I CAN !
I STILL LOVE TO EAT.
I go very fast on my trike. Both forward and backwards
