This was a BIG day for Austen! He got to eat cake, cookies and taste ice-cream for the first time!
He had lots of company and got to rip open pretty packages and play with fun new stuff. Wow!
Hey, Mom! What was that cold sweet stuff all about?
Forget the ice-cream. Pass the cake and cookies! Yumm! I could eat this stuff all day.
What's so funny Grandma? You keep taking pictures and all I'm doing is eating this wonderful stuff mom let me have. I guess it is pretty funny that I'm getting to eat all this wonderful stuff and it isn't even dinner time!
"DINNER!" Austen's word for food of any kind at any time of day. Looks good!
Really BIG Dinner! For me, mom? How do I tackle this guy anyway.....no fork, so I'll improvise.
Special friends and family came and brought gifts and helped eat cake. There were lots of balloons and lots of photos taken. What an exciting time we all had. And it didn't end there, because we went to a Halloween party later that evening!
Books, clothing, a great shape-o car and lots of yummy food. But I still like my old toys too and as long as mommy is close by I can explore and discover all kinds of new things. Tastes, sounds, people...the world can be a pretty cool place.
After all that cake I must be seeing things! Where'd everybody go? And who are these crazy creatures?
And I got to dress up like my favorite animal...A Giraffe! It was kind of fun to run around outside and see all the silly people.
No contest as to who was cutest this Halloweeen!
All that fun was followed by a trip to the pumpkin patch and a trip to the zoo. We had to entertain Grandma I guess so she'd concentrate on something besides me. I enjoyed all the fun too though!
And the next day, we went to the Oakland Zoo! It was my first trip to a zoo and all of the animals were so happy to see me!
